Safeguarding is the process of taking important steps to protect people from physical or emotional abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse or neglect. It also means protecting the reputation of an organisation too.
This one-day training will provide an essential foundation for anyone in an organisation who is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of others: HR, managers and leaders especially.
You will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to recognise signs of abuse, prevent potential harm, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. You will also learn about the legal and ethical frameworks that underpin safeguarding practices, as well as the importance of confidentiality and maintaining boundaries.
