Nunu is a licensed mental health counsellor well equipped in working with people from various backgrounds, cultures and needs. She provides counseling, training, and critical incident management.
Nunu is well conversant with humanitarian work. For the last 10 years, she has been offering counseling, training, and supervision to NGOs, UN agencies, UNHCR, UNHCC, and MINUSMA. She has specialized in providing face-to-face and online psychological first aid, debriefing, and critical incident management to humanitarian workers in remote and dangerous areas facing trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and health related challenges.
She uses an array of therapeutic methods that are holistic, and evidence based: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma informed techniques, more so, she tailors therapy to the client’s need, goal, unique personality, and cultural background.
