Nicole Agneta
Operations Assistant
Nicole Agneta holds a B.A in Counselling Psychology from Daystar University and is pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at United States International University – Africa. She has a passion for merging the power of psychology with creativity and art. She recognises that art is a powerful tool in communication, connection, healing and expression and seeks to utilise it as such.
She has worked as an assistant to Occupational Therapists, volunteered in Mauritius as an exchange student at a school for children with special needs and worked in advocacy for youth experiencing mental health challenges. She has also facilitated and moderated countless panel discussions around mental health with various organisations and mental health professionals.
True to her artistic nature, Nicole is a published poet, has won the Sondeka Awards under the poetry category, is a Cafe Ngoma Awards Nominee and runner up at the Poets You Should Know Women’s Slam 2020.
Nicole is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
