Preventing and Responding to Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
π Saturday 15 November
β° 10am-1pm EAT
π Location: Westwood Hotel, Eldama Ravine Rd, Nairobi, Kenya

Workplace sexual harassment continues to be a difficult yet necessary conversation, especially for those in leadership.
In the face of recent public allegations across sectors, this workshop offers space for senior managers to pause, reflect, and engage honestly with what sexual harassment looks like in practice; not just as a policy issue, but as a lived experience within teams and institutions.
Through discussion, reflection, and practical examples, participants will learn actionable steps to prevent, respond to, and address harassment from safeguarding, clinical well-being, and investigative perspectives. The workshop will also ground these conversations in the Kenyan legal framework, with particular reference to the Sexual Offences Act (2006) and related obligations for organisations. In addition, participants will examine the role of prevention measures, including the development and implementation of anti-sexual harassment policies, and what constitutes effective policy in practice.Β
