CLINICAL CANCELLATION POLICY
Last Updated: May 2021
Your appointment is for your exclusive use and when it is cancelled or rescheduled with short notice, or missed altogether, it is often too late or impossible to offer this time to someone else and the appointment time goes unfilled.
For clinical appointments our policy is:
- You will be charged 50% of your appointment fee if cancelled or rescheduled with less than 2 full working days notice
- You will be charged 100% of your appointment fee if cancelled or rescheduled with less than 1 full working day or if you do not show up for your appointment.
- Notice can be given verbally or in writing, however it is up to the person cancelling to prove that notice was given.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment, or their appointment may be forfeited and their appointment will be treated as missed.
If your appointment is via the internet and for some reason you do not have access to the internet for the appointment please note that Thrive will charge an international dialling fee of £15 per call. Our preferred mode of delivery for remote appointments is Zoom. If Zoom is not working we will try Skype or WhatsApp before moving towards a telephone consultation.
If for some reason the Thrive clinician does not have access to the internet, Thrive will absorb the cost of this telephone consultation.
For paper screenings our policy is:
- An administration fee of £20 for any cancellation prior to being reviewed by clinician. The full cost will be charged for screenings reviewed by a clinician.
By making an appointment or booking a training you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.
Thank you for your cooperation.
TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY
For our learning & facilitated sessions, our cancellation policy is informed by our values. At Thrive Worldwide, we go to great lengths to meet our client’s needs. This entails engaging the most suitable facilitator(s) and taking time to develop the session that will best support the participants. Therefore we start developing and scheduling the session soon after our client’s confirm they wish to proceed. Should a client reschedule or cancel the session, we will need to pay our team for their time. It would be great if you could partner with us to avoid situations like this.
For Remote Learning:
Rescheduling
- If you wish to reschedule a training date with more than 10 working day’s notice, we will try to accommodate your requirements and there will be no charge the first time this occurs. However, further postponements will be charged as a cancellation.
- If you wish to reschedule a training date with less than 10 working day’s notice, you will be required to meet costs related to the training such as preparation or customisation. However, further postponements will be charged as a cancellation.
- If you wish to reschedule a training date within 7 working days of the training, you will be charged 50% of the quoted training fee. However, further postponements will be charged as a cancellation.

- If you cancel within ten working days, you will be charged 50% of the quoted training fee.
- If you cancel within one week of the training, you will be charged 100% of the quoted training fee.
