Meet the team
Dr. Michelle Tufnell
Occupational Health Physician & Travel Medicine Doctor
Dr Michelle Tufnell qualified in medicine in 2006 at Imperial College, London. She gained experience in general medicine and haematology for the next 8 years, working in hospitals in and around London. During this time she gained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. In 2014 she decided to pursue her interest in travel medicine, and joined InterHealth as a travel health clinician, as well as working for an international medical assistance company.
Michelle’s husband was ordained in the Church of England in 2010, and after his curacy and period as an Associate Vicar, they moved to Dorset with their three young children in 2018, where he took up his first incumbency.
Michelle completed a Diploma in Occupational Medicine in 2019 and has been working as an Occupational Health Physician for Thrive since 2021, alongside other roles in travel medicine and occupational health.
Michelle is based in the UK.
