Description
The Thrive Christian Medical service is grounded in our Thriving principle of wholeness – being well in body, mind and spirit.
For people in Christian ministry or leadership, it is an unhurried opportunity to review their overall health within the context of their life, work and vocation. It should ideally be seen as part of a regular health check every couple of years. A report with recommendations will be sent to the individual and (if requested) to their employer. It includes a full examination and standard set of blood tests.
Testimonials
“The process was brilliant from start to finish – excellent booking, questionnaire and communication. … I felt very safe and able to be completely honest. There was no sense of being rushed, but it was also efficient. We covered everything I wanted to discuss. I really valued the prayer as well.” — Anonymous

Options
Face-To-Face Medical (Up To 60 Minutes): This service is grounded in our Thriving principle of wholeness – being well in body, mind and spirit. For people in Christian ministry or leadership, this is an unhurried opportunity to review their overall health within the context of their life, work and vocation. It should ideally be seen as part of a regular health check every couple of years. A report with recommendations will be sent to the individual and (if requested) to their employer. It includes a full examination and standard set of blood tests. (Please note this is not currently available due to COVID-19 risks)
Hybrid Medical (Up To 45 Minutes): A full medical as above but conducted in 2 parts – first a 45 minute remote consultation to discuss the contents of the Personal Health Form and any health concerns, followed by a shorter 20 minute in person appointment at a Thrive clinic to conduct the examination, blood tests and urine check. (Please note that if you would like a face-to-face consultation, this is the option currently being offered so as to limit contact time as per COVID-19 recommendations.)
Virtual Medical (Up To 45 Minutes): For those unable to visit our clinics in London and Nairobi, a 45 minute virtual medical with a Thrive Doctor can be scheduled. In addition to this consultation, an appointment with a local doctor for the physical examination and taking bloods is necessary, using Thrive health forms. Once this is concluded, then the Thrive doctor will review the forms, examination findings, and results, and discuss them with the individual in the virtual Christian medical. This allows the Doctor to review the specific details of their role as well as clarify health issues and discuss any health concerns. A report is sent to the individual and a certificate can be sent to the organisation if needed.
