Initial Travel Health Consultation

A comprehensive consultation with a travel-health nurse.

A comprehensive face-to-face consultation with an experienced, travel-health specialist nurse.

This will include reviewing medical history, assessing personal travel needs, discussing and administering travel vaccines, malaria prophylaxis, preventative advice, reviewing travel supplies and any other travel health related issues. All advice is specifically tailored to the individual’s travel needs. Advice is also available for more complicated situations, such as travelling during pregnancy.

“Each year as part of our Fellowship Scheme we send postgraduates to live and work overseas for two years. Thrive provides valuable travel advice and ongoing support for them. And in the uncertainty of COVID-19, Thrive’s team has been a really useful point of contact. They are proactive. They find solutions. And they know what they are doing. It gives confidence to our fellows, and to us as an organisation.” — Susan Barron, Programme Manager ODI
