SUMMARY:When The World Feels Unstable: Why Conflict Shows Up At Work & What To Do About It
DESCRIPTION:📅 Wed 11 March \n\n\n\n🕤 12-1pm GMT // 3-4pm EAT \n\n\n\n📍 Location: Online \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn a time of overlapping global pressures — conflict\, climate disruption\, funding uncertainty\, political division and organisational change — many purpose-driven organisations are operating in sustained stress.  \n\n\n\nThis cumulative strain doesn’t just impact delivery. It influences how people relate to one another. And beneath the surface\, many organisations are noticing increased reactivity\, passive-aggressive communication\, blame\, withdrawal\, and tension within teams. When conflict emerges\, it can be difficult to contain – leading to toxic work dynamics which can drain productivity and joy at work. \n\n\n\nAt Thrive\, we view conflict through a different lens. Conflict tells us something important about what people care about most – our interests\, values\, past experiences and unmet needs. In thriving organisations\, conflict is not suppressed or avoided. It is addressed early\, handled constructively\, and used to strengthen trust\, clarity and creativity. \n\n\n\nIn this one-hour webinar\, we will offer insights into what is going on beneath the surface of workplace conflict in today’s complex world\, and offer practical approaches for managing conflict at work in healthy ways. \n\n\n\nLEARNING OUTCOMES \n\n\n\n✅ Understand what drives workplace conflict\, and how it is being affected by cumulative stress linked to global challenges \n\n\n\n✅ Identify some approaches for resolving conflict constructively \n\n\n\n✅ Find out how Thrive’s approach can support you and your organisation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYOUR HOSTS \n\n\n\nKAREN ABBS // Chief Thriving Officer // Click here to learn more \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCHRIS WAKE // Psychotherapist and Mediator // Click here to learn more \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOST FREE \n\n\n\nBook Now\n\n\n\n\n\nAT A GLANCE \n\n\n\n💬 We say: “Clear roles\, psychological safety\, supportive leaders & open communication can all reduce destructive conflict and enable healthy disagreement.” \n\n\n\n👥 Perfect for: HR leaders\, people & culture teams\, managers and wellbeing professionals in purpose-based organisations \n\n\n\n📖 Further reading: Nine ways to create psychological safety in your organisation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook now

SUMMARY:Trauma Informed Critical Incident Response
DESCRIPTION:📅 Tue 10 – Thu 12 Sep 2-5.30pm BST // 4-7.30pm EAT \n\n\n\n📍Location: Online \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf a crisis or traumatic event were to happen in your team\, what kind of support would there be for those who need it most? \n\n\n\nTrauma’s impact upon a person\, workplace and organisation can be wide-ranging and long-lasting. When it disrupts lives within a team\, it can have a knock-on impact on work culture and organisational goals. But if\, in the aftermath of a crisis\, meaningful emotional support is given to those who need it most\, the short and long term impact of the distress can be reduced significantly. \n\n\n\nIn this course\, we will equip members of your team to provide exactly this support. They’ll learn to spot signs of trauma\, to respond proactively in a crisis\, to give humane support to a fellow human being who is suffering\, to aid a person’s recovery\, to signpost further support\, and to prioritise their own self care. In the process\, they’ll become a ‘Psychological First Aider’. \n\n\n\nThe course is interactive\, accessible\, engaging\, and will give you piece of mind that in the event of a crisis\, timely and effective care will be offered to those who need it.   \n\n\n\nWatch a video about the course here. \n\n\n\nLEARNING OUTCOMES \n\n\n\n✅ Discover how trauma typically impacts body and mind \n\n\n\n✅ Use active listening to care for a team member \n\n\n\n✅ Know when to refer someone for further support \n\n\n\n✅ Develop self-care skills \n\n\n\n✅ Boost the coping skills of a team \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCost: £250 \n\n\n\nBook Your Space\n\n\n\n\n\nAT A GLANCE \n\n\n\n💬 We say:“This is really about helping people see they are naturally empathic & compassionate.” \n\n\n\n💬 Others say: “We gained the knowledge and skills to support traumatised groups in a meaningful way.” \n\n\n\n🎓 Learning style: presentations\, discussion\, roleplay \n\n\n\n📖 Learn more: Things to know about creating a trauma-informed workplace. \n\n\n\n\nBook Your Space
